
Abigail (Abby) Paeth is an Associate at Brunswick Group’s Chicago office and is a member of the firm’s consumer industries group. She originally joined the firm as an Account Researcher in the summer of 2019, upon earning her degree, and has held various roles within the firm since then.
During her time at the firm, Abigail has supported Brunswick’s work in M&A, employee engagement, corporate transformations, crisis, financial communications, leadership transitions and litigation communications.
Currently, Abby serves on the Junior Board of the Children’s Research Fund at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
She is an alumna of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in News-Editorial Journalism in 2019. In addition, she pursued minors in Public Relations and English Literature. She also specialized in Political Science.
Prior to Brunswick, she served as Editor-in-Chief of The Daily Illini, the independent student newspaper at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
During her time at The Daily Illini, she served in various positions for three years, including Features Editor, Night Editor and Assistant Features Editor. Abby was also a member of the Editorial Board and worked for the longform team, where she advanced the newspaper’s coverage of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
In tandem with her role as the Editor-in-Chief, Abby worked for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences at the University of Illinois in the communications and marketing department, where she was a news writer.
